One of the last port calls, on the cruise, was a special one! Visby, Sweden is a nicely preserved medieval town know as the Town of Roses and Ruins. An UNESCO World Heritage site, it is a combination of beautiful gardens and ruined medieval churches. It is located on Gotland, Sweden’s largest island, in the Baltic Sea.

With lots of restaurants, many featuring French food, and boutique shops selling Gotland’s famous sheep goods, it was easy to spend several hours here, wandering the cobbled streets!
